30-DAY SOCIAL MEDIA MASTERY FOR COMPOSERS
Without Posting Every Day or Becoming a Full-Time Content Creator
All you need is one hour per day to unlock social media's incredible marketing power
YOUR MUSIC IS NOT THE PROBLEM
Most composers write great music, but pray for scoring projects to fall
from the sky
I've heard from a lot of professional media composers that they HATE marketing and promoting themselves.
And there was a time when just writing great music would be enough to get you noticed.
But in 2025, it's a different game. The scoring industry is now extremely competitive, and getting more so every day. Production is down, AI disruption is coming. Your very survival in the industry depends on having a wide network of professional creators who know your name and are excited to work with you.
"I don't do marketing" just doesn't cut it any more. And you've probably known this deep down, for some time, and that you had better figure something out if you were serious about making this dream of yours happen.
But odds are you've been making one or more of the five key mistakes that composers make when trying to find work online:
- No Strategy: Posting randomly online in various platforms with no actual plan, then giving up and shifting rapidly when it doesn't yield any results
- Feeding Frenzy: Waiting and hoping for composer positions to be posted online, then joining a bloodthirsty horde of hundreds of composers applying and hoping be the lucky winner
- No Relationships: Spamming cold outreach, and begging for opportunities from unknown filmmakers, rather than building a human connection and developing trust
- Thoughts and Prayers: in the end, a shocking number of composers simply give up on marketing altogether and stick with what's comfortable: writing more music, hoping and praying that filmmakers will find them and hire them out of the blue! How's that working?
Don't feel bad if this is you. I've done all of the above myself. It took me forever to understand how the industry actually works and how to navigate it and find opportunities.
But now I'm able to use what I've learned to help composers around the world build successful careers in media scoring, and fill their calendars with amazing projects.
And the cornerstone of this strategy in 2025 is social media. For just one hour per day!
"This is not just another music course - it's real, industry insider knowledge that is helping composers succeed RIGHT NOW"
WHY OUR COMPOSER CLIENTS SUCCEED WHERE OTHERS FAIL
I've been a professional film composer for 15 years, and have been helping composers succeed since 2020 via my company, The Pro Composer. When it came time to build my clients' marketing strategy, I focused on helping them set up a great portfolio and website and conduct email outreach.
That method worked great - and still does - but something curious happened with some of my younger, Gen-Z clients. Simply put, these digital natives intuitively made social media the centre of their marketing strategy, and crushed it.
AND THAT'S WHEN IT HIT ME...
These younger clients of mine were on to something. Social media has become both the dominant form of media consumption, and the dominant form of communication, in 2025. Just about everyone on the planet is active on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, or other platforms every day.
Of course it was only natural that social media would represent a huge opportunity to find and connect with filmmakers. Why, then, was I resisting it?
I used every excuse in the book to avoid social media: it's too time-consuming, it's too complicated, it's not for professionals, it's too toxic, it's too overwhelming, I'm too old, etc. etc. But the truth was, I was scared. Scared of being seen, of being criticized, judged, ridiculed, scared of getting lost in the complication of it all, and most of all scared of trying and failing and feeling that pain of rejection.
Social media just isn't for me, I told myself. I'm not a social media kind of guy. Amazing, the mental gymnastics we can do to avoid something that scares us!
But as I watched my Gen-Z clients' careers take off - and even threaten to surpass mine, thanks to their mastery of social media - I knew it was time for me to face my fear. So I coached myself through my emotions, using the same mental exercises I give my clients, and began posting on Instagram and Facebook in a way that was designed to show my professional strengths.
And almost instantly, I landed a four-figure record deal, and my old employer reached out with a new opportunity, just from posting one Instagram reel. That was enough to hook me. Now, I use social media as a cornerstone of my marketing strategy, and that of my clients.
Here's what a lot of composers miss about social media: it's not about being a dancing monkey, chasing stupid trends, or becoming a full-time content creator. When you use it as a business tool, social media allows you to develop and nourish relationships with filmmakers around the world, at scale.
It makes your outreach and marketing much more efficient. And when you combine it with traditional outreach modalities, like email or in-person events such as film festivals, it acts as a networking supercharger.
I hear constantly from composers that finding scoring work is next to impossible, and getting harder every day as the industry struggles - meanwhile ignoring the potential solution that is sitting right in front of them and could change their lives, in just an hour per day.
Most businesses spend 50% or more of their time and money on client acquisition. You probably spend at least an hour per day on social media already, scrolling your life away. What if you could use that time, strategically, to develop your business and fill your calendar with high-quality scoring work? Wouldn't that investment be worth it?

Film scoring was my dream, and I pursued it with everything I had. But I struggled for over a decade trying to figure out how to navigate the industry and my own mental blocks before finally achieving success. Now that I finally understand how to play this game, I'm on a mission to help as many other composers as possible and save you from the years of struggle and frustration that I experienced. With the right strategy and determination, I truly believe that anyone can achieve success in this field!
HOLD UP, ROBBIE.
WHAT ABOUT A.I.??
WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO OUR INDUSTRY?
I thought you might have this question. A.I. music and video generation tools are starting to get scary good, and are likely to have a major disruptive effect on both music production and filmmaking as a whole.
Here's what I think:
Long-term, it's anybody's guess. The world in 10-15 years could have completely different ideas around what it means to work, to earn money, to tell stories, even to be human. Our industry is likely to be transformed into something we can't even conceive of at the moment. But this is far bigger than our profession - all of humanity will face this challenge together, and nobody knows how it will unfold.
So, we just have to do the best we can to position ourselves, be prepared to pivot, and hope for the best. Personally, I'm planning on succeeding, to the extent that success will be possible. And trying to stay positive - because new, unexpected opportunities always emerge with new technology.
In the short term - i.e. the next few transitional years - your career actions are critical. This is the time to move, right now.
So far, though there is a lot of uncertainty in our industry, there hasn't been any major disruption to the workflow of professional filmmakers and composers. A.I. is currently too risky from a legal standpoint, and the tools aren't good enough at collaborating and shaping their output to a scene.
However, given the pace of change across other industries, we should assume it's only a matter of time before A.I. becomes widely integrated into both filmmaking and music production.
I believe human creativity will always endure, and most filmmakers would rather work with a human composer than use an A.I. tool - but the laws of economics mean that the low-hanging fruit will be captured. We've seen it happen already in the art and graphic design world.
Commercial work - low budget reality TV - sync licensing - expect A.I. music to take over these fields partially or completely in the next several years.
And traditional entry-level film projects, like student films or low-budget Indies, may well start to use A.I. music instead of human composers.
The media composers that survive the A.I. disruption will be the ones that professionalize. The cream of the crop. The ones whose humanity and brilliance can't be replicated.
This means that having a high-quality portfolio and website, and a professional marketing presence, is non-negotiable.
And if you're at an early phase of your career, now is the time to work with as many indie filmmakers as possible to stack credits and gain experience, while that pathway is still open.
I believe there will always be a place for human creativity - but when it comes to earning a living in media scoring, only the strong will survive.
So - if you're serious about this dream, it means you need to be ALL-IN. Otherwise, you might as well quit now, because it's going to get harder.
Sorry if that scared you. I want you to be clear about the task ahead of you. In order to succeed in media scoring, you really have to aim for the top of the business.
The good news is, the methods in this course are an essential part of high-level success in 2025.
Follow them, and they'll help you book great projects and advance your career.
I truly believe this is your best shot at coming through the A.I. disruption in good shape.
Now the question is:
ARE YOU NEXT?
Let's come back to the present moment. In 2024, four million titles were added to IMDb. 19,000 video games were released on STEAM.
It's safe to assume that the majority of these projects needed original music, and someone got the gig. In spite of the challenges facing the industry, there's still massive opportunity out there.
So if you're writing great music but not getting any scoring opportunities - how much longer can you go on, before something has to change?
If you were waiting for a moment to finally give yourself a push and get your career moving, here it is. These methods are normally reserved for our private clients in our advanced coaching program, which is a 4-figure investment.
But today, we're making them available for just $97 - and with a full 7-day money back guarantee (unconditional, no questions asked), your purchase is entirely risk-free.
Don't you think it's time you took your career seriously, and developed a professional marketing strategy to find scoring work?
If so, you have two choices. You can practice what I call "Random Acts of Marketing", where you take wild stabs and guesses at how to reach out to filmmakers and get hired. I've tried that method - and it works, eventually, if you don't mind spending the better part of a decade going in circles making every mistake in the book in the process.
If, however, you're busy and you want to get straight to the part where your career takes off, you can follow a proven industry insider method that is currently helping composers land life-changing scoring work right now.
So - what'll it be?
